I have been lingering in the darkness for many years. I have been confronted with paths and have, for the longest time, sat in the middle wondering where to go until I am forced to one path. I have unwillingly been pushed into things noone should have to suffer. But I did suffer them. And even though I did, I refuse to cry. I refuse to whine and pout, and have my thoughts consumed with depressing memories of what should not have been. Because then, I would be giving in. I would be letting that man have what he wants.

So I will be happy. I am going to live my life in the best way I can. I will, don't you think I won't. I will have so much fun. And you, Tom... I won't remember you... I will do whatever possible to forget the very thought of you, but not where people can see something is wrong. I will show everyone that I can get through this. That me, Alyria Vonrouso, can get through the hellhole that was forced onto me by who was supposed to be a friend. I will have fun. I WILL be happy.
